I took my A-spec wheels down to have the Falken tires that I purchased from Edge Racing mounted up, and when I returned they had only mounted up three of the four wheels. The Firestone dealer said the the bead, on the 4th tire was cut,. Almost as if it had been mounted and driven on. The colored rubber stripes were dull and the tire looked older than the rest. He advised that I do not mount the tire as he thought the side wall would bubble and eventually blow out.

I'm so bummed as I had hoped on finishing the A-spec install this weekend and now I have to wait for another tire to be sent out. Hopefully Edge will act on this fast and I won't have to wait a week or two.

 

Please let us know how you make out and what the reason for the error was.

Edge should send it priority shipment.

Sorry for your problem. I know how it feels when you think you have things all wrapped up and something puts a snag in your plans.

 

those guys simply suck, i don't know why. my 1st set of Falkens from them came all scuffed up (i pposted pics up here some time ago), like they were slid around on concrete alot. they would not pay for their return. they had me go out and but Simple Green to try and remove the scuffs, did not work. one guy there said to use mineral spirits, NOT. they even told me that there is a film on the tires that wears off after 200 miles on the tires, then i told them "i dont drive on my sidewalls, do you ?", no answer.

so, if you want first class customer service and customer satisfaction, buy from www.hptire.net, i did and could not be happier with those guys.....

 

They are sending me a tire which should arrive by Thursday. Not what I had hoped for, but I guess they are at least replacing it.
