ebay and Discount Tire Direct are having a promotion on many sets (4) of tires. You buy the set of tires and you receive a $100 Visa Prepaid card (expires 4 months after receiving it). I know the Continental DWS are a hot commodity on here, and they are going for 602 shipped, less the $100 card, so that's 4 tires for $502 which is pretty good I thought. Happy shopping!

I ordered a set myself. I went with the Nitto Motivos though.

Any idea if the treadlife warranty is still applicable since the tires were purchased through the eBay store?

If the tires carry a tread life warranty from DiscountTireDirect.com, then I would assume it is the same deal.

I sure as heck hope so, I don't see why it wouldn't. However, the Motivos are backed by a 60,000 mile warranty and I didn't see it anywhere on the eBay sales ad from the DTD tire store. So it makes me worry a little bit.

If you check your invoice, it is as if you ordered straight from DTD. You should be all good, just keep that invoice and if any problem arises, you can show that to Nitto.

Though I'm sure Discount Tire Direct and Tire Rack are reputable companies, I believe tires are something you should buy from whomever installs them. That way you'll only have one entity to deal with if there's ever a problem. My 2¢

My Continental DWS's were $155 each from Mavis Tire. That price included mounting, balancing, installation, old tire disposal fee(NY), and a FULL road hazard warranty with all future rotations for the life of the tyiz.

Deal is good on wheels too.

Typically it's a LOT cheaper to buy directly from Discount Tire Direct's website. But this ebay deal beats the website by ~$20
