dunlop tires
#2
I'm not familiar with that particular model but I have to say Dunlop tires kick major ass. We would all be happy if Acura ditched the crap stock michelans and used dunlop for their tires instead!

I had Dunlop D60 A2 tires on my last car ('93 Vigor). They were OK, but when they wore out I ended up replacing them with the Bridgestone Turanza Revos.
IMO the Bridgestones had better traction, especially in wet weather and they were quieter.

I have 215/50-17 Dunlop SP4000 A2's on CL-S rims...They cost $140 each and i love them. Grip and wet traction is markedly better than the OEM Michelins, not excellent but worth the price. On hard corners I do get some squeal but its very acceptable as well as the treadwear.

I went from stock tires to Dunlop Sport A2's and the difference is night and day. They squeal a lot less the the stock tires, and I got mine for a decent price ($72 from tirerack.com - less than stock!). I havent had them that long so I dont know how the wear will be though.

They are good tires... have them on anohter car for about 3-4k miles.... very good in the rain and they grip pretty decent on dry pavement. They might spin out pretty easily in the rain, though ya shouldnt be trying to accelerate to hard in the rain, but as far as lateral grip and not hydroplaning, they are very good.

Thanks for all the information. I decided to stay with the 205-60-16 which has a diameter of 25.7 in. The 225-55-16 has tha same diameter but will not give me the traction I require for the Nova Scotia Canada winter.
