Droppin' my TL
I'm installing Skunk2 springs to drop my TL 2" in the front and 1.75" in the back. I know I have to mess with the camber and alignment. Anybody got advice? How costly?

Hey Houston, there's still a good chance that you don't need to get a camber kit. Check this out: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ight=alignment
However, a good alignment is an absolute must! I am going to guesstimate that an average 4-wheel alignment costs about $70. But, my personal suggestion to you is that you should go to an establishment which offers lifetime alignment packages. I paid $170 for mine. With this you can align your wheels everyday for the rest of your life, and it is always free, for as long as you own your car! Hope this helps!

Read this thread regarding the "need" for Camber Kits.
If you decide you need one, say, $125 - $150 plus install (or DIY).
I'd recommend a "1 year" or "lifetime" alignment plan. I guess $100 - $150. With added negative camber from the drop, you want to keep your Toe as good as possible for best tire life.
BTW - if you're on stock shocks, start saving up. That drop will wear the stockers faster; 1" to maybe 1.5", they *might* hold up. Over 1.5", I doubt it. Listen for any "bottoming out" from stock shocks hitting the bump stops; that'll be added confirmation that you're wearing them faster than normal.

Thanks for the info fellas' but, I see not too many people talk about installing Skunk2 lowering springs, is there a reason? Also, how critical is it to change out my stock suspesion when lowering my car. I have an appointment on Thursday with a suspension shop that's gonna let me know what I will need to lower my car succesfully and I don't want them throwing in extra parts that I don't really need so, any feedback would be appreciated.
