Drill dust boot when installing Koni Yellows?

I'm looking at instructions on how to installs Konis with H&R sport springs. Will I need to drill the dust boot when assembling the shocks and springs? I've already gone out and bought a floor jack, jack stands, and now I have to buy a drill?

lol at spending money on shit you wont ever use again

the dust boot and the bump stop will fit over the koni shaft by forcing it or putting a little pressure on it.

Here is Justin's thread on installing Koni's with the type-s bushings. I believe the black washer on top of the dust boot cover has to be drilled out (installed mine a few years back with a friend who has done suspension mods before so don't remember that well (sorry))as well as some other washers. More info in thread...hope it helps. Koni's directions are not good, as you have found out.

Yeah, I'm trying to find someone that will do this for me but I'm having a hard time. I don't want to spend another $50-100 for a drill, and then $20-30 on bits.

for base TL bushings yes. No way the type S bushings will fit over the koni shaft without drilling it.

Sweet, so no drilling will be required at all? I thought the dust boot and bump stop would have to be drilled as well, but some people have said I should be able to slide them right over the shaft

Jack, stands, drill, and bits are nice and sometimes necessary to have around even if you only use them for a few minutes on this job. I like to consider tools as somewhat of an investment as opposed to something I'll never use again.
