always intrigued by those. But when I had my RSX-S, they were my sworn enemy. Same with TC's and Golfs!

 

People give Celicas a bad rap..there fun little cars......

 

now i feel bad about stripping out my sexy TL....i should have done that on an older Celica or 350z or something like that....

but but while driving home yesterday, 2nd gear, foot easy on the throttle (50-60%), 100deg weather.....VSA kept blinking when i hit vtec on 2nd

 

Yep...Wifey wasnt happy about me stripping the rear of Celica....but It makes a difference...

I definitely thought the same way, but kinda have to swallow my words when I say I'm interested in getting into a miata as a project. Doesn't get much more girly than that!

i recently have been agreeing with you mang...but i have to disagree on this one.....i dont think miata is a girlie car....its a small and quick car....def not girlie....

but I don't care, I'd drive that thing all day long. Same with the GTS, mostly seen girls driving Celica's but I wouldn't care, I'd get one. Mini's too...and for some reason the MS3 seems feminine to me too. I don't know why though...

Well, the thread was going off track so I went back and posted my original sentiment!

 

My DD is an '00 Celica GT. The wife gets the TL damnit.... Its funny seeing me in my in my celica. I'm 6'1", 245 lb, shaved head, goatee. The guys at work all made fun of me at first. Then they realized I was getting 32 miles/gallon and that I could run circles around their 4x4 trucks. A few of them have ridden with me and love it. Its like a little go cart....with A/C...

I drive rather spiritedly and have made a few guys mad on the interstate on my 55 mile commute to work. With my blacked out windows, they cant see me when they pull up beside me and scream at me to pull over so they can kick my ass. I pull over, wait for them to get out of their car first, then I jump out and start briskly walking towards them with a 1 1/4" impact socket in my right fist. They quickly jump back in their car/truck and leave. This has happened three times to me now.....I guess, when they see the car, they think they are going to yell at some little girl and make her cry or teach some punk kid a lesson. Boy are they wrong....lol....


But yea...its totally a chick car....but I dig it

I call it "driving selfishly". Honestly, 2 of the 3 occurrences were because the guys tried to change lanes (with no effing turn signal) and I just beat them to it....with my signals used legally. Some people just cant admit when they are wrong. When I fvck up, I'm the first one to throw my hand out the window to apologize. I drive almost 2000 miles a week in my personal car for work. When you spend that much time on the road, you learn how to get from "a" to "b" fast...

I yelled at my fiancee yesterday for flicking some d-bag off for waiting till the last second and making her slam on her brakes and then weaving in and out of traffic. I told her, hey, that's what FHP is for...call them and report that ish.

Also a reason I choose not to carry my gun even though I'm permitted...I would be so tempted to shoot out a tire or something...

I am permitted and carry. I honestly have never ever been tempted to go for my gun. Its like a cell phone camera. You forget you have it till its too late :lol: Then again I havent seen any zombies lately either...
