So I have the f&f type II and I recently went lower and made the measurements the same... fronts were 3 7/8 and I forget the rear.... but when I did the fronts thats what they measured (lower bracket) and the driver side was lower even though they measured the same... did the rears and same problem so pretty much I had to play with it and I have all different measurements.... is this normal????

 

Are you measuring the distance from the ground to the fender or are you measuring how much you've adjusted on the coilover? Do you drive your car around for a bit before measuring?

 

Im measuring the lower bracket height... not the preload
and when I adjust it lets say 1/2 inch it moves slightly and I dont drive it but is that normal???

 

^drive it around the block a couple times, then measure. I am not 100% it will solve you problem, but the measurements will change.

 

I think its normal. Because imagine the driver side has steering wheels and more weight on the driver side so it could be that. For me I just keep adjusting one side until they were both even.
