Didn't need alignment after springs & tires...

Well, I took my car up to David McDavid Service Dept. to have the squeaky sunroof fixed, and while I was there I had them check the alignment since I'd just put on Comptech springs & 18" tires/wheels. I thought maybe something would be off, with such a large drop in the front, but they said everything was within specs. I'll keep an eye out for wear, but just thought I'd let everyone know. It's probably still a really good idea to have it checked anyway - I may have just gotten lucky.

Let the springs settle for 1000 miles or so then get an alignment.

According to Mike at Comptech, their springs don't settle once they're shipped, and alignment should be done as soon as possible. That's just what he told me when I called to ask about an installation issue. I'll probably have it rechecked in the near future, but I'm not too worried about it based upon what he told me.

The springs will settle.. TRUST ME... I had my springs on my car for almost a year, I installed MafiosoTL's Springs with him, took pics of both of our cars, my car was still lower than his car...The do settle, and will lower a little more.

His car is now lower because he has a body kit(before the drop, my car without the body kit was lower than his with the bodykit!), but look at the side view mirrors..mine on the left is lower than his mirror...this pic was taken after we installed his springs..My springs were on again, for like a year, and my car is lower.
