Dealer Roates 19" Staggered Wheels

I had my A-1 service, done and told them to not rotate the tires.

I have a staggered set up, so 275/30/19 in the rear and 245/35/19 in the front.

My wife has driven the car for the last week, put maybe a 1K in miles on, was looking at the car this am, and notice that the huge lip is in the front.

The dopes rotated the tires, but the large in the front and small in the rear.

I don't see any damage, but am going to make them put them back on correctly in the am.

Michael

wow that was pretty dumb from them....

btw, honestly i dont see the point of having a staggered setup on a FWD car... and 275 on top of that... you're not driving a ferrari man... all the extra weight/$ for nothing

I had my TL in not to long ago and told them not to touch the 19's. I decide to check my tire pressure a week later and find they let the air out to drop them back to 32PSI (EL-42s), when the recommended tire pressure for my 19's is 52PSI.

Are you confusing maximum allowable inflation pressure with recommended tire pressure?

If not, where did you find the recommended tire pressure for your tires, and what size tires are they?

52PSI? I think you may have read that wrong or you are looking at the MAX allowable pressure.

Sorry, you're right, 52PSI is the max pressure, I usually run just under 50PSI. Should I be running lower than that, how low can the pressure be before I will start causing tire problems? I figured running at 32PSI wasn't the best for the tires.

The good thing about having a "reverse stagger" is that it'll definitely help the problem of understeer... In matter of fact, the reverse stagger is receiving attention as mentioned in Dec's issue of Modified Mag.

Is this the silver car with the ssw 19in wheels that was posted picture taken in Long Beach? I love your setup it is exactly what i am going to put on mine. Would you be so kind as to tell me what is the tire and wheel sizes? Also where did you purchase them and for how much? I just installed the Aspec suspension on mine and i am ready to get my new wheels.
Thanks, it would be greatly appreciated.

19x9 with 40-45 offset all around will fit. Use 245/35R19 tires.

looks is one thing, but now with a staggered setup, your rear has more grip than your fronts which WILL provoke understeer. oh well...i guess if you grandma the car it wont really matter.

you can go as wide as you want, you just have to worry about rubbing and how stupid the car will look....as far as the brembos touching, you gotta make sure you get the right offset.
