I'm thinking about getting the Work CR-Kai in 18x8.5. Would run 235/40/18 Continental ExtremeContact DW.

Will the +25 offset rear work without any fender rolling/cutting? And what's the lowest offset I can go in the front and still clear the Brembos?

Lastly, I'll probably also end up dropping my car - nothing too aggressive. Probably 1"-1.5" when it's all said and done.

Would something like +30 front/+25 rear have any fitment issues (even with my planned ride height drop in the future)? Looks-wise would look pretty nice?

Any help is appreciated! TIA!
+30 front and +25 rears should work fine with that tires size

20s are big on the TL IMO if u want to pull off 20s your car should be slammed to make them look right and your guna need to run a 25 series sidewall. The front will most likely be flush rears almost flush

Somebody quickly answer mine just for rear. Ready to buy if this will work (let me know if what is required with it)

F 19x8.5 +35
R 19x10 +35.

I dont want a negative chamber

Will be lowered on Tein SS

Second question would be what size tires.

IamaTL...those would require rolled fenders and "some" camber. have seen a member with 265-30-19 tires on a 19x10 +42 IIRC.

depends on how much you lower it also.

Which set up should I go with on some 19's for an 05 TL w/Brembos? Should I go staggered or will 19x9.5's look ok all the way around?

My options are:

Sizes available: 19x8.5 and 19x9.5
Offsets available: +35, +38, +40, +45, +48

Don't care about ride quality, just want the wheels flush with minimal rubbing.

Both the rims I asked about I got from tirerack and when I called the customer service also agreed with fitment. Are they just wrong?

Those rims won't clear the brakes up front u need lower offsets do they have other offset options?

What rims r they? Not only offset determine if they will fit or not but also face design and disk type on face. Depending on the rims u can run staggered or a square set up and all those offsets u listed are conservative

^The width and offset is fine but I would advise against getting 20s. Look into a set of 19s with the same specs.

just looks too big for the car. And using 20"s with thinner tires will be more susceptible to cracks or bends.

Help with '04 fitment

'04 TL with Aspec kit (not sure about the suspension, but don't think it is Aspec, just body kit)
Auto tranny
Wheels -
front 18x9 +38 offset with 245/40 Falken Azenis
rear 18x9 +30 offset same tires

No drop, just stock suspension. May drop .5 - 1" max in the future. Probably not though unless it just looks ridiculous.

Question is, will I deffinitely need to roll my fenders, and if so do I need to do front and rear or just front or just rear? Thank you guys for your help! I don't know what I'd do without the info I find on this site. Hopefully someday I'll gain enough experience and knowledge to give back some.

I was thinking the same setup as this, or a 8.5 for the front and 10.5 in rear. Whats the maximum tire size I could get for F and R? I am willing to roll, pull and/or camber kit.

Those LFA reps have a hub bore of 60.1 while the 3G TL has a hub bore of 64.1. You'll need to get adapters if you want to mount those with no issues. Contact the seller and see if they have any you can buy.

Wheel Make/Model: Nitto 555 250/50/17
Wheel Size (**X**): Stock
Wheel Offset (+**): Stock
If lowered (amount):0

My car is a stock 2007 TL Type S. Will these fit?

250mm width? Did you mean 255?

Also, the side wall is 5mm too thick. A 45-series sidewall is recommended for 17" wheels. Stock tires were 235/45/17.

Vffr1, you could do a 255-40-17. 255-50 is too tall

Thanks fellows. I got confused, I was thinking 250/40/17, I was planning on getting 245/45/17. Seems either a 245/45 or 255/40 will fit fine.

Think I'll stick with 245/45/17.

Thank you again,

Michael

Will do, any suggestions on where to get some if they don't have any?
