Curbed my rims, how bad does this look?

How bad does this look and how much am I looking at to get it fixed? Anyone know of any good (i.e. cheap) shops to get it fixed at in LA?

Last time I ever let a friend test drive my car...

It's noticeable, and I KNOW it hurts, but I don't think you need to get it redone. Curbage always happens sooner or later. I say save your $. You'll get used to it, even though right now I'm sure you're not happy.

it's ugly , if you got the fund's to get another and use that one as a spare!...and don't let anyone drive your unless they can afford to pay for repairs or replacement parts!

Totally agreed...first blood always hurts the most. After a couple of weeks, you won't even notice it.

Definitely. However, from my experience, repaired rims are NEVER repaired to "good as new" condition. It might be close, but never the same. I still say "save your $".

He already agreed to pay for the repair. How much do you guys think it'll cost to fix? How do they fix damage like that anyways?

Absolutely...I had a set of OZ F1 rims that were gouged and curbed beyond belief....got them cheap off ebay. Took them to a shop locally and they did a phenomenal job repairing the gouges and repainting/reclearing them...looked like new...$125 per tire but that was about 6 years ago.

I imagine colour-matching the paint will be the most difficult part...may not exactly match the rest of your rims.

I say do the work yourself. Just get some bondo =D

fill it in, sand it down and get flat black paint and repaint the entire wheel. Its easy and will cost no more than $20

Repair that? Eh, the cost of repairing it is probably gonna be as much as what one wheel costs anyway.
