ct drop + tokico hp...do I need camber kit?

whats up guys. I'm an a-cl.com regular, never really been over here before.

anyway I really need to figure this out ASAP so maybe somebody here can help me out while the cl site is down?

I put comptech springs w/ tokico hp struts on my 01 cl-s last week. It gave me a much bigger drop than I was expecting. I can barely fit a finger in the front gap, and 2 fingers in the back.

It rides great and I guess the bigger drop is normal with the tokico's (vs. stock shocks), only problem is, am I going to need a camber kit? Its a pretty low drop...how low can you go before camber kits are necessary?

thanks for any info...

oh yeah...I can already see where my front tires are getting worn down from waiting this long for the alignment...the insides are going bald.

its different for every car...you'd really have to get an alignment to tell...comptech drops are ususaly borderline between needing the camber kit and not needing it..so if your lower the normal you'd probalby need it...

you really need a camber kit.tire wear in the inside tread indicates to much negative camber and your always going to wear them out fast.I would really get a good kit i really wouldnt get a cheap one as i experience problems with them.go to your local performance shop and ask for advice
