Correct 16" wheel?

I couldn't find anything through the search. It's either down or there's no info.

Does anyone know what is the correct size for 16"? and offset? It's going to be used with snow tires. Tirerack recommended 16x6.5 but I've also seen 16x7 - which one is better?

Are you sure about that? barring the brakes getting in the way, with the correct offset you should be able to fit 16". 16" snow tires are way safer than 17" snow tires.

Just a few days ago I saw a 3rd gen with 99-01 TL rims, which are 16x6.5, +55. So it is possible, the only thing that would prevent you from putting smaller rims is if it is hitting some suspension component or something like that.
