Concave TE37 fitment?

I may be inheriting my wife's 08 6spd TL-S. I am a huge fan of the TE37 and especially when it's concave. Would it be too difficult to fit a 18x9.5+22 at all four corners? If so, what other offsets in either 9 or 9.5" widths will have a concave face? I believe 18x9+35 but I'm not sure.

It's important that it fits in front because I'm not a fan of staggering a FWD car. Thanks in advance!

18x9.5 +22 with 215/40 tire. Lower car, roll fenders, and around -2/-2.5 degrees camber.

It will work, but we need more info on what future goals you have. Are looking for stance, being slammed, or just simply adding wheels and calling it a day?

TE's are a good chioce for the TL

Well maybe ill have to nix the +22s then because I wanted a meaty, track-oriented setup. My goals for the car are intake/J pipe/exhaust, coilovers and a carbon hood, plus other various things here and there like repaint the front bumper, convert all the interior bulbs to LED and get some audio equipment. I also would entertain more ways to make more power, but not get too crazy as this is and will remain a daily driver (we may just switch so she can trade my car in for something else).

But in regards to wheel/tire setup, I just want four same-offset, concave TE37s in bronze (the car is NBP) and I can kick out the rears with spacers. As stated above, I want the widest tire I can fit given my rigid opinion on concavity. I plan on lowering the car so there is a 1/4" gap, any amount of camber is fine to not poke the tires

I believe it concaves starting at +22 offset. Any higher and it will be flat face if I am right. The OP doesn't want to stretch tires. My guess is it will poke and rub it you throw on 265's, given the offset and width.

OK... So I've been looking at Varrstoen ES2.2.1 in 18" diameter. I DO NOT want to get too crazy with the fender modification. Will an 18x9.5 +30 wheel clear the Brembos AND fit in the fenders with only minor rolling?

^ Depends on what tire you run also.

The specs on my wheels (not TE) are 18x9 +30 on 235 tires and I'm lowered about 2" or so, no fender modifications at all and I DO NOT rub.

Hey buddy I'm running Varrstoen ES2 19x9.5+12 offest in the front and 19x10.5+12 offset on the rear. I had my fender roll and my tires were 215/35/19 in front and 235/35/19 in the rear, I cut the top of my fender line in the front to have more clear turn sharp turn. All I have an issue is with my rear rubbing on turns and dips but I just need to pull my rear fender I think it will be good. But since your not going aggressive as me you probably need just a roll and depends how low u want to go.

Well, I have already found that rims that size are perfect for what I want fitment-wise, but these Varrstoens are only in 18x8.5" or 18x9.5". One member a few years ago had 18x9" +15, but that is too aggressive.

My choices in 8.5" are: +25 or +35 and
my choices in 9.5" are: +22 or +30.

I am worried in either 8.5" width that I would have clearance issues with the Brembos. With the 18x9.5 +22s I'd have to do too much fender work, so that's out.

I'd like to see if either the 18x8.5 +25 or 18.9.5 +30 fit - so please let me know.

It's the offset you'd be worried about, not width for clearing Brembos. I don't have Brembos so idk what is the least you could get away with, someone else would have to confirm.

Yea... I know it's offset, I'm just not sure how a skinnier wheel fits with only a +5 difference in offset - it could be more/less concave, etc. and that would have an effect on clearance.

I see that either width/offset combination works within my constraints... The 8.5 +25 probably being the better choice... It all boils down to clearing the Brembo if someone could chime in.

+25 should clear, that's 20mm farther out than stock.

Like I said, at 18x9 +30, I didn't have to roll fenders so at 8.5 +25 you'll be fine. Only thing now is the caliper clearance.

Someone needs to jump in here and confirm!
