Comfortable Coilovers

Hey guys,

I used to ride on harsh coilovers (other car) and now I want to keep the TL a pretty good "nice" daily driver.
I will be getting 19" rims in the future but want to get the proper suspension first.

Question is:
I was contemplating the a-spec (to keep stock feel) but didnt know if the drop would fit the future 19's.
Coilovers is great but they typically ruin the ride.
I don't need top-performance (just better than stock is fine), comfort is TOP priority with reliability a second.

Does anyone have any comparisons? I searched high and low but had no luck. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'm interested in the same info. I kinda came to a conclusion that since the rear shocks are such a pain to replace that I was going to go with an adjustable coilover like Megan. I can keep it at stock height or drop it a little. Also 32 adjustment for dampning. That's the route I'm about to go unless some can change my mind. I'm running 20" rims and the ride is pretty soft and don't want to make it harder.

I had a friend who said that the Tein SS's ride pretty firm. They use linear springs so that may add to it.
I'm getting the H&R Street Performance Coilovers installed this Wednesday. I'll let you know how they ride eagles5.

So as an update I've got the H&R Street Performance on. It's comfortable for a coilover (definately softer than Teins) but for sure stiffer than stock. It transmits road breaks alot rougher and holds tight on wallows in the road. Now these problems are alot more pronounced at highway speeds and less of an issue at city driving speeds.

Overall pretty happy, wondering if the KW Variant 1's are more comfortable but I've got the wheel gap eliminated and I don't scratch. A good compromise.
