Coilover corrosion/rust common?
So I definitely want to lower the car within the next year. With coilovers being about the same cost as struts/springs, I just assume go coilovers. My only issue is that I've heard nightmare stories of the threads getting corroded on the coilovers with daily driver cars. I tried searching the forums, but didn't really find anything--which I guess is a good thing, right? So I guess I'm just checking to see if this has happened to anybody?
If anybody is wondeirng, the HT-Spec coilovers are the ones I'm considering.

I had the TEIN Basic on my TL for 3 years /~23xxx miles ( daily driver ). Never had rust issues or anything along that line. My car has gone through snow/rain/mud u name it.
I did however clean the coilovers 2-3 times a month, simply by high pressure washing them from under the fender/ through the wheels, which ever way i could to clean em up.
I recently sold them to a friend who is sporting them now. He says he loves them, and no problems what-so-ever!
