Just found this H&R coil-over for 04-06 TL, is this better than Tein?

I was actually looking into the H&R a while back and started a thread. No one seems to have tried them yet.

I'm seeing a lot of H&R products for the TL lately. Specifically I know they have an RSB that has Teflon bushings...Wish we had more info.

Couple months back, someone called H&R to inquire about lowering springs specifically the OE sport springs. Rep at H&R said they are still in the R&D stage and will let the consumer know when they will be ready. Apparently they're available. Did a site check, and they do have the Sport and Race Springs, Sway Bars (Ft - 28, R - 22) and the coilovers. I was hoping for the OE Sport Springs.

Thanks, I have seen that site, what I meant by info was actual user experiences and/or comparisons with the comptech rsb...

The TEIN Basic is comparable to the H&R Coilover. From H&R's site I gather the only coilover they have available is the street setup and it is similar in design and structure to the TEIN. The TEIN coilover is hundreds of dollars less though. Some of H&R's higher end products, similar to TEIN's higher end products, offer monotube shock/strut designs which offer some better performance gains. But if the choice is between the H&R setup and the TEIN Basics get the Basics. PM me for prices.

H&R has been in the suspension business for some time and some folks prefer them over CT and Eibach. As far as consumer reviews, I don't think too many folks have gotten the H&R RSB, much less aware of it. Besides, CT marketed their RSB over a year ago and everyone was gettin it. Combined with the Aspec suspension, it's a great combo.

springs only & stock shocks? is the ride all better or any worse? i got H&R sport 1.4F 1.3R- springs only- & i've kept them in the box for 2 weeks while trying to find out if i'd have suspension probs w/o matching shocks. i got H&R because they've been doing springs since b4 i was born & they're all German. i got em from www.drivewerks.com- free shipping & no tax $ 219.20 & they came 4 days later (3 days early) #50104 and the coating looks like nighthawk black pearl. i'm getting them put in 2morrow. i guess i should also get a sway bar. probly C T

I talked to JDMlug about this not too long ago. Similar to the basics but for the price you might as well get the SS' or do a custom job with the K sports
