I searched this topic but I saw most of the clunk occurred on turns and bumps. When make a right in a parking garage or any right curve/turn or sorts, I will hear a rhythmic clunking/thumping. I can feel the thump through the floor, almost as if the exhaust is hitting the body or something it hitting the wheel spoke.

I replaced the shocks and springs with ones from a 08 TL-S. It's only recently started to make this thumping noise. It doesn't make this noise over bumps which I find shocking.

Anyone have this issue?

I plan on checking all the control arms and swaybar bushings, as well as tightening the shocks.

Bump.... Found the solution. It was scary... apparently someone tried stealing my wheels and tires... the right rear wheel is missing 2 lug nuts. I bought new Bridgestone Potenza RE760s today and they showed me... I'm shocked.

Someone must be watching over me.

maybe the lug nuts were not tight or torqued properly?

I torqued them to spec myself. Either way, I'm just glad nothing happened.
