Clunk Clunk

I just bought a 07 TLS. I am very happy with the car so far. The one problem I'm having is every time I go over a bump, I get this clunk sound. Regular driving is great, but the bumps and the clunk sound is driving me crazy. I've read in another forum that there was a bad order of struts installed for the TLS models. Anyone else having the same issues?

I get what I believe are the clunks; but I don't know for sure. I'm too lazy to drive an hour to have a dealer look at it for me. I'm waiting on Acura to issue a recall or my car to drive itself to Austin - I wonder which one will happen first?????

if it is coming from the rear, it is the rear strut and this is a known problem. acura can replace it for you! if it is coming from the front i have the same problem and haven't looked into it yet.

re: clunk

Sounds like its coming from the front and rear, the rear being the worse. I thought suspensions were a little better that the horse/buggy set up, but I guess anything can go bad. Great car, but I checked with my local dealership and they said they haven't heard of this. Now they have. I will keep check and let you know what I hear. Thanks!

Man, that sucks. I have an 07 Type S as well, but I do not have clunk clunk problem. But there is one small problem I do have. The problem is with the stering wheel being off centered. I took it back to the dealership a few time and they did a couple of alligments and it made it a little better but still a little off. That stuff really bothers me. What do you guys think?
