Cleaning wheels on 6MT - stupid Brembos!

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question but...

Does anyone have a tip for cleaning the inside of the front wheels on a 6MT TL? The Brembos are large and I have a very hard time cleaning the inside of the wheel next to the Brembo brakes! I can barely squeeze my wash mit in but end up with nicks and cuts on the back of my hand and I bang it up against the brakes. I also have a wheel brush but it's too thick to fit in between the brakes and the wheel. Any suggestions?

1. Smaller wheel brush.
2. Or squeeze your hand through (I do it). Of course, the section with the calipers are hard so I move the car slightly when I want to clean that section.

I don't have the Brembos, but I still have the issue you're describing. Rolling the car a couple of feet is a good suggestion. Also, I can often reach in from behind more easily if I crank the wheels to hard right or left. If I forget to do that and I don't want to move the car, I push a rag around in there with a wooden dowel.

I was just being sarcastic about the Brembos - I love them except for the mentioned pain in the but to clean the rims.

I use a sponge to get all the way in the back; back behind the spokes too

Besides the time & effort, why not just take the wheels off?

What I do is clean the wheels, then move the car a few inches to finish the job. It's sure easier than removing the wheels.
