Cleaning Wheels 6MT

I just upgraded to these 19" wheels. One thing I like is I can slide my hand between the Brembo's and outside of the wheels. But, one thing I never worried much about with the stock wheels is a lot of water lands on these wheels and sticks up like it is waxed. Do I need to wax these wheels on occasion or is it just a different type of material? I can tell already that washing and drying the wheels will take me longer than the stock wheels but somehow...that makes me smile cuz they look hot. Any tips appreciated. Just sprayed down look:

Great looking wheels! I learned about using a Leaf Blower for blowing out the wheels and nooks and crannies in the car (windows, mirrors, gas door, license plate, grill, etc) from this site, I think. Let me tell you this trick works great and saves tons of time drying the car. I bought a blower just for this purpose. Might want to try this trick with your wheels when the newness wears off.

Get a bottle of liquid Nu-Finish and put a few layers on .. each layer a minimum of 24 hours apart.

Regular wax won't last .

My wheels are a lot more complex that that and I just use a Microfiber drying towel .. sold at Walmart for $6 .. its blue and about 24 x 36. Takes me all of 20 seconds per wheel.

Just bend down Grasshopper and dry them .. I do and I am 62..

Are those the Stern's? Any issues with them? Did you need spacers to clear the brembos? Good looking wheels!

I had not thought of using a leaf blower...my neighbors would think I totally lost it!

Very hot looking wheels Jesstzn! If you can clean yours I suppose I can mine.

As far as the Stern fitment...they fit just fine. They are 19's with 38MM offset. No spacers. This is the best pic I have to show brake clearance:

A few coats of Zaino on the wheels AND calipers and you're golden. We're coming up on the tail end of one of the worst winters in a long time in the NE and my car has gone upwards of 3 weeks with salt caked on the wheels. A little soap and water and they look brand new. Also, I just rotated the tires and had a chance to clean the calipers. Again, soap and water and they look brand new. The Zaino really makes the gloss black on the Brembos shine like a mirror.
