Cleaning/polishing Ebony A-spec wheels

I just purchased a set of ebony A-spec wheels and while they are nice and clean I was wondering whats the best way to clean and then polish them. I would imagine just regular soap and water and then wax like I would use on the car? Since these are not the chrome ones I know using a chrome or metal polish would probably damage the finish. The ebony wheels are painted correct? So again, just use a regular wax to make them shine?! Thanks guys!!

Regular wax wont deal with the heat at all .. Get a sealant .. Very good cheap one is Duragloss #105 usually available at Car Quest .. Another is NuFinish. Both will last on the wheels.

As for cleaning them.. Yes car wash soap. Wash them often so the brake dust doesnt build up. I stay away from wheel cleaners as they strip the wax.
