I was thinking chrome dipping my 17 inch type-s stock rims. anybody has done it? how much is the reasonable pric? any recommedable shops in SoCal? i live in LA County, Diamond Bar, also close to Orange County.

also, factory body kt looks good to me. Acura-tl.com sells the 4 piece kit for $823.99. it is good price, huh?

I overpayed and had the dealer do it for $795. I got a fair price on the car and didn't mind seeing the the salesman make a few extra bucks. Plus it looks great and is warranteed by the Acura Dealership. I'm pretty sure if you shop around you can have it done for between 3 and 5 bills. You are a little far from the only place I know which is in Northridge, but if you are ever in the valley, give Kenny a call at Northridge tire. I've always gotten fair prices over there.

i got my factory wheels chromed. it was something like $195 per wheel kinda steep, but it looks tight! a friend of mine who works at acura has his type s rims chromed, it looks soooo tight! i love the type s wheels, esp. chromed i say go for it!

I've seen chromed stock TL-S wheels on an SSM before, and it looks kinda distracting. But then, chrome wheels on silver cars are kind of hard on the eyes anyway.
