ok so i have to get a new set of tires for my 06 tl and a freind of mine has an 05 tl with a new set of tires with abut 1000 miles of light use...hes plannig on trading his car and he said we can trade ,so my question is .....will i have a problem with my tpms sensors since im gonna have his set of rims or can i switch them with no problems at all??

he doesn't have TPMS so that won't work. Why don't you just go switch tires and not rims

does he have tpms on his tires? when you install his, check your MID and if he does they'll pop right up. no need to switch anything. idk if 05's have tpms tho...?

*experience : just switched wheels with someone else who had tpms in his tires. direct swap*

Im just trying to do a direct swap without much of a hassle...plus im not able to leave my job since im my own boss and im runnig my bike shop from 8 am till 7 pm straight

He doesn't have TPMS on his car because it's a 2005. In 2005 it wasn't offered on the TL. Simple as that
