Can't find a front progress sway bar anywhere.

So I've been weeding the internet for the past few months looking for the front progress brand sway bar and haven't been able to find it anywhere, not even on heeltoe.com which is a website with a known reputation to carry all honda and acura performance parts and accessories that you're looking for and now I'm wondering if progress even manufactures and of I should look to another brand for a front sway bar because it seems that progress only has sway bars for the rear. I already have a set of konis yellows on my car with H&R springs but I still want a front sway bar to take away as much body roll as I can when taking corners. Does anybody know of a good brand that manufactures a great front sway bar that they would recommend to me? It would be greatly appreciated and thanks.

The front sway bar is already pretty thick on the Type S. Even on the base.

Your best bet is to get a Progress rear sway 24mm

H&R makes one. Most use the type-s If you have a base model tl.

Progress doesn't make a front bar. They only make a rear bar.
if you want a cheaper upgrade, go for the type-s front bar.
If you want thicker than the type-s go for the h&r.

However, you should upgrade the rear first!!
The goal is get the car to handle neutrally.... You want balance.
If you upgrade the front, without doing the rear, you'll get major understeer.

I think you need to research more, cuz you'll destroy the handling of the car

Sorry if this is considering hijacking. I have an 06 6MT, I've read that they have a 22mm reader sway bar. Should I upgrade to a 24mm?

Let's do some critical thinking.
if your rear bar is 24mm thick, how thick do you want the front?
Remember, the goal is to get the car to handle neutrally.

From the factory, the car is set to understeer.
By adding a larger rear sway bar, you're upsetting that bias and the car will suffer from lift off oversteer. Which is cool as fuck.

I enjoy getting the ass end to come out

Sorry, I thought I read in a thread on here that a heavier reader sway bar was beneficial.

It's beneficial if you don't want understeer.
the goal in any car is to get it balanced. This is why Honda worked so hard to retain 60/40 weight balance.
Because of the inherit FWD, the car will have natural understeer.
to mitigate understeer add a thicker or stiffer RSB.
You can also shift this balance by playing with spring rates.
You can further shift the balance with tire pressure

With my 6mt, I've done the progress RSB.
in a tight 90 degree turn, I accelerate into it, throw the steering wheel hard and lift off the skinny pedal to get the ass end to come around. This is called lift off oversteer

I'm a fan of the beefier RSB. As Justin stated, the car will cause the ass end to come out a bit on you, like a rwd car. Personally, I'm a big fan of the setup now. But what's good for me may not be good for you. If you have the RSB already, beefing up the front will make the car a bit more likely to understeer. Aka it'll be more stock feeling overall, but way more planted to the ground.

Additionally, a thicker RSB will tighten up day to day driving, I remember switching lanes for the first time after install, and the car no longer floated across, it switched with authority.

The biggest benefit however is reaching the limit in a turn. Stock, the car will want to go straight into a wall. Just the tendency of a FWD vehicle

Don't get me wrong, my car will still go straight into a wall if I exceed the limit! Can't beat physics

To address OP's body roll issue, I would advise to get rid of the H&R springs and get a coilover set up.

Acura NEVER discloses their spring rates. they only talk in marketing speak with %'s. for example; the Type-s is 33% more stiffer.
i'm betting the H&R springs are set up for MORE under steer, because it is a FWD car. I dont believe H&R discloses their spring rates either. you cant choose and you are at the mercy of a company with whatever decision they decided.

I went with BC coilovers for SEVERAL reasons.
1) I can pick my own spring rates.
2) the BC's can retain stock droop
3) adjustable damping and height at each corner.

The BC's come stock 10kg front and 6kg in the rear. this is SEVERELY unbalanced and set up for under steer, probably JUST LIKE THE H&R's.
I chose to go with a more balanced spring rates front to back. 12kg up front 10kg in the rear. I could have even went for more balance..but i got scared LOL
i left it with a little understeer bias

I 'm looking for my TL to be as nimble or being as close to nimble as an Integra, I know I won't be able to make it to type r nimbleness due to the size of the car. I just have to take some weigh off the car to make it a bit lighter.

My 6mt weighs like 100lbs less than the auto and I have taken out 50-100lbs of weight!! My trunk is bare metal!!

However, it's still not as nimble as an Integra. The car still weighs close to 3300lbs....

I'm not comfortable stripping the car further, because I still would like to retain fancy seats and fancy leather and fancy dash...I still want to be fancy

I'm with you on that one! I still want to have some of.the luxury amenities that male the TL well.... a TL, so I will not be taking off too much from my car just the bumper reinforces, spare tire, carpet molding, and a few other parts that I don't really care much for

They are 5mph beams. Any impact 5mph and under the beam takes the brunt of the impact.
anything over 5mph and the beam doesn't come into play

So did you remove them yourself or did your auto body shop do it, also what are some good brands of light weight performance tires that cost relatively less to others?

I removed everything myself!

if you remove the plastic bumper cover, it will reveal the bumper beam! the bumper beam is held on by 4 bolts/nuts. easy peazy

same for the rear

I think I'm going to go with the H&R front sway bar to get the best stability possible out of my car.

Does anybody here know if Firelli tires perform good on TLs? The reason I ask is because I have one Firelli tire on my car right now.

pirelli makes a whole line of tires. That's like asking about a car brand without specifying a model. So what model of pirelli tire is it? Also if you only have one pirelli, what are you running on the opposite side?

This topic just makes me cringe if you all really think those beams have no role when impacts are over 5mph.

This car was involved in an accident with speeds over 5mph.

Front bumper beam did not come into play.
