Can you tell an A-spec suspension just by looking?

Can you tell an A-spec suspension just by looking?
I bought my TL last weekend. I initially went into the dealer to look over the base model, but on the floor was a DWP with A-spec rims and body kit - I loved it, my 12 year old son loved it - so it's mine now.
Anyway, as add ons to the price only the rims and body kit were shown as extras. I'd like to get an A-spec suspension to drop the car a little. When I looked on ebay for an A-spec suspension - it looked to me like it already may be on the car. Is there any way to look at the suspension from underneath and tell whether you have an A-spec or a regular suspension set up??? Thanks

Very nice looking! Sorry can't answer. Does it ride quite firm? What year is it. My 06 TL rode pretty smooth. My 07 TL-S is much firmer. If it rides a little harsh on bumps it may have the A-Spec coilovers. Not sure though.

Thanks for the discussion and kind comments. It's a 2007. It does seem a little rough on the bumps - not bad, but not much give. I'm hoping there is a visual que on the parts. I'm guessing there is some cosmetic/visual difference between A-spec and stock suspension pieces.

If your looking for a drop and a not too stiff ride then I say get the eibach pro kit springs. The A-spec suspension doesnt lower the car by much which barely makes it noticeable.

There is a way to tell and it is to look at the part number on the struts. I dont know the part number for the a-spec but i remember seeing it on the forum so just do a search. The number is on a white sticker so it should be quite noticeable unless the struts are really dirty already. It may be difficult to see the number sometimes too because it might be facing the inside.

Thanks guys - nothing like doing a quick search to make a guy feel dumb. I see my question has been asked about fifty times or so. The A-spec part number is 08W60-SEP-200A and as whatjones911 says it's on the sticker big as you please.

If someone could please break down the individual numbers for all components on both the Manual kit and the Auto kit that might help a few of us in the future.
08W60-SEP-200A Manual but also fits the automatics as well
08W60-SEP-200 Automatic

Congrats on the new ride Objectionableone. I'd also like to see what that A-Spec kit looks like all around as I just bought a new TL the end of last month. I've been debating the whole spring issue myself as I'm trying to get 20's but I'm beginning to go against that for normal riding.

The a-spec drop is not virsually noticeable. It lows the car less than 1.2 inch. The quick way u can tell difference is to put ur fingers between fender and tires. But I did not remember how many fingers should be there. You can have a comparison with the stock one.

Call the Acura dealer and get the number for the A spec suspension for the car. The numbers should be printed or glued on a white label. By the way it should lower the car about 1 in on the front and 1.5 on the rear. Just remember if you want warranty coverage let the dealer perform the mod.

I dunno man I pull up to a TL totally stock and Im faily lower than em. I have aspec suspension it only dropped the car about an inch, unnoticable until u take high speed turns (higher than 60) and the car doesnt tilt, plus the comptech swaybar helps too.
