Got a 03 TYPE S TL ... and in the garage I had some 4 year old Niche Rims with TOYO 215 45 17 Proxes Z4 tires I think? But the tries were manufactured in 99, and had it on my accord for about 5k miles only, the rubber still has the needle threads on it, thas how new the tires are!!

I wanna put them on my TLS now, but Im afraid about the tires age? Would it be bad for my car?? Advise please. Also, Im going with 45 series instead of 50, is that bad or good?

 

i guess the best thing to do is look for cracking and dry rot, if you dont see any thing you could have them mounted and check again

 

What's the offset for the wheels?
