will 18x8 with 48 offset wearing 225/40/18 fit on a TL? how bout a CL??

On a TL Yes, and you may have to shave the bumper tab..

on a CL Yes

thats my setup and i'm droped with a prokit, i shaved the tab and i don't rub two often- i'll roll the fenders soon and that should take care of it
