Do you buy HPT option? Or they threw you these tires while you complained of EL42s?

They are Ultra High Performance Summer tires...

it must be because of the HPT option -- although i dont remember paying any extra for it. i was reading the posts about the bad EL42 tires and i quickly checked mine and they were RE030s. they came with the car already when i bought my TL. hopefully, they make the RE030s OEMs.

The 030's are the High Performance Tire option. Available from the factory only on the 6mt. The car was probably ordered that way by the dealer. If you have a 5at then the tires have been changed.

Summer tires couldn't be OEM, but I wish Acura can come out more choice of OEMs for owners to choose.

i think the Yokohamas come with the A-Spec kit with the 18" wheel.
