Brembo/rim question
Hey guys, I've decided to get rid of the accord for either a CL or TL. I've only got a few questions. Currently I'm running some 18x8 +38 offset volk rims. Does anyone know if it'll be sticking out and if it does by how much? On the accord it stuck out slightly. If anyone has pictures of their TL with something similiar to the VOlk III's could you please post them. THey look like the C2 multipiece rims.
Second, I'm planning on transplanting my brembos from the accord over to the TL, does anyone know if I'll have a clearance issue as I had to use a 5mm spacer on the accord.
Finally, I'm having a hard time deciding between the TL and CL. Obviously if I buy the CL-S i'll be getting the 6 spd and that would be the advantage, but if I was to get the non type S, what are the advantages of the TL over the CL and vise versa?

If you put them on a CLS:
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 4mm MORE
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 30mm (1.2")
If you put them on a TLS:
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 2mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 36mm (1.44")
If you put them on a TLP or CLP
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 8mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 42mm (1.68")
Oh and my car has Racing Hart C2's if you wanna see. Check my sig.

Just out of curiosity, where did you come up with these figures? I have a '99 TL and I'm going to be putting on 18" x 7" wheels with +42mm offset. Just wondering if my wheels are going to protrude out or not.
