Best wheel size/tire package to look beefiest without rub
 

Hey guys, I’m looking for the best wheel/tire package to make my ride look mean and beefy. I have 17” rims on my TL rn but I’m looking for 18’s most likely. I don’t want to have to roll fenders and I don’t want rub either. So what would the best size/offset package be and should I stagger the front and back wheels?

wheels and their sizes are like ice cream. Only YOU know what flavor you like.

I'm running 18x9.5 +22 which to me is PRETTY aggressive, although some have fit wider wheels.
and if you're not willing to play with the variables GIVEN to you, a-la; fenders, ride height, camber and tire play...Might as well stick with stockers...

wheels and tires are NEVER a plug and play option. You will almost certainly NEED to play with the variables to get to your goals. Whatever they may be.

on a FWD vehicle, I like my wheels and tires uniform across ALL four corners. It looks stupid if staggered. because it's not RWD.
Also, being square at all four corners will allow you to rotate the wheels for uniform wear.
A staggered setup will not be able to rotate wheels and you will be buying tires faster.

Stick with the stocks, throw on a 255/40/17 tire and enjoy the beefiness.
I'm running that right now and ran it when I was at stock height as well, I'm dropped now and still no rubbing :)
