I'm trying to get ahead of the game on replacing my tires ( '03 TL-S). Has anyone experienced better performance (noise, treadwear, traction) with something less expensive than the seemingly problematic stock MX4's?

i love Yokohama i was impressed with Sumitomo the yoko's i ate them up fast the sumi's took longer to kill but it didnt grip like the yoko's

Yokohama AVID V4S's all the way. They're quieter AND sportier. Great tire, great price, light years ahead of the crappy Michelins.
