Hi guys. I have some crappy aftermarket rims that I want to run snows on for winter. Looking at tiresize calculators the 215/50/17 is almost identical in height to the 235/45/17 plus its a bit narrower, which is good for snow.

Anyone using this? My aftermarket rims are only 7" wide, I understand that most 215/50/17 shouldnt be mounted to the stock 8" wide rim.
