Bay Area install of A-Spec suspension
Has anyone paid to have the A-Spec suspension installed in the S.F. Bay Area? If so, where and how much.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The dealer would be the best since they probably do them blind folded. How much?.....I don't know. My suspension arrives tomorrow and I will be putting it in myself. I'll tell you how it goes when I'm done if you'd like and if you decide to do it yourself and you need help we can probably arrange that since I live in Oakley.

The dealer would charge you an arm and a leg, its really not worth it. If you can aquire the parts at a discounted rate (which you can through many online, or even local dealers who do wholesale parts)... then just have it done at any well priced shop.
Personally, I do all my own suspension work, provided you have the tools, and understand the concept of unbolting and re-bolting, its really just not difficult. The key is having the tools and time.
If you are in the bay area though and can't do it yourself, I highly recommend Hilltop Auto, in Daily City, Don Lam is the owner, he's been working on my NSX's for years as well as my other Acura's, and his work is top notch and very well priced. On top of that, if anything is ever a mistake or mis-diagnosed, he's always eaten the cost to make it right. You can reach his shop at: 650-991-8838
Get your hands on the parts, and call Don, I'm sure he'll take care of you.

How much are A-Spec suspension kits going for these days anyway? After the twisties run this weekend at the TL meet I'm starting to see why people want the better suspension

I also suggest calling around anywhere at different dealers. I tried this and found mine for $500. Sometimes they are just laying around from orders that didn't happen. I found mine in Kentucky or Ohio I think......and I live in Cali. A little more work but cheaper when you find it.
