Base to Type S suspension

So I have a friend who has a type s, but replaced his suspension with an A-spec suspension. Anyways, he still has the type s suspension and said I could have it for ~$100. What do you guys think?

Also, how much lower would this set up sit compared to by base height? How tedious of an install is this/how long would it take for a good mechanic? (not going to the dealership, have a friend who is a mechanic, but just curious what I could be getting myself into).

Any input??

base to type-s...there no is no drop.

the type-s did get stiffer bushings in the top hat and slightly stiffer valving in the shocks

It'll just be a stiffer ride.

As for install, the fronts are easy, but you have to remove the rear seat to access the rear shock assemblies. Search for the DIY in the 3G Garage.

Yeah, its a bit stiffer then both base model suspensions. The install isn't too bad (removing the back seat was the hardest part) although it really isn't enough of an upgrade for the effort IMO.

install should be a piece of cake. literally just a handful of bolts to take out especially since you wont have to mess with a spring compressor.

I've done a full set up install before and it is a piece of cake.
