Axis shine offsets for staggered.
I have been looking around here and online like crazy.
I intend on buying a 2007-2008 WDP TL Type-S this summer.
Question is what offset would be best for this set-up
TEIN SS coilovers with 1 finger gap. Aprox -1.75" from OEM
Front rim 19"x 8.5" with a 245/35/19" tire.
Rear rim 19"x 9.5" with a 265/30/19" tire.
My previous 06 WDP Manual TL had AXIS HIRO wheels in 19"x 8.5" with a +35 offset.
I did research, and just want the EXPERTS here to help make sure I am getting the best without the wheels/tires sticking out at all.
Thankyou
Merry Christmas
Tires; Conti Extremecontact DW
245/35/19 25.8" high. 9.8" wide.
265/30/19 25.3" high. 10.7" wide.
Alternatives"
235/35/19 front 25.5" high. 9.5" wide
275/30/19 rear 25.5" high. 10.9" wide.
My last car had 245/35/19" Yoko S-Drive tires.

Thanks
I have seen those pitures before. But looking for offsets for staggered Shines for the above tire sizes.
I might go for 245/35/19" tires in front with 19"x 8.5" Shines.
And 275/30/19" tires in back with 19"x 9.5" Shines for a staggered look.
I need to know the proper offset.
My Axis Hiro's I HAD were 19"x 8.5" with a +35 offset all around (not staggered)
I hope somebody is an offset wizz to help me. I know I can CALL places that sell them, BUT alot of times they are NOT SURE. I just want the most knowledge I can get

Please delete this thread.
I am through with axis wheels.
They stopped making the axis hiro in hyper silver in spring of 2009.
Just found out today via wheelsnext.com, that the axis shine is no
longer being made.
This is very aggrivating.
I guess i will wait-save-???
And just get volk gt-s wheel in silver.
Unless i can find a 5-spoke wheel with a polishe lip
that has a big open design for a 07-08 tl type-s.
Have a great day

Thanks Jesstzn
OK, so the front offset for the 19"x 8.5" wheel is the same on the Shine as the Hiro, cool.
What about a 19"x 9.5" wheel in the back ? I want to go staggered this time.
245/35/19" tires in front, and either 265-275/30/19" tires in the back.
What offset would the rear be in this set-up ? I have to find a chart, I use to know
how to figure out offsets. Thanks Again
Your car is BEAUTIFUL

AWESOME !!!! I just called another place for the AXIS SHINE. They still make them. They are back ordered until Feb 2012. And he said 19"x 8.5" with offset +35 in front for 245/35/19" tires will fit the Brembo's. He also said the 19"x 9.5" wheel for the back would be a +40 offset. Also the front lip is aprox 2" and the rear 3".
The website is WHEELSTUDIO.COM.
He said WHEELSNEXT.COM IS A JOKE.
I agree.
Thanks for the help.
I was also considering the AXIS Penta. I love 5 spoke wheels with polished lips, and mesh style.
Peace, Joy on Earth.

My TL on shines before I sold it. I got the wheels of a friend and though they were +35, but they weren't, they were +45. Luckily I had some spacers so I used those.
9.5" with +40 mm offset will sit almost identical as in the picture (2mm difference). And your fronts will be 5mm more sunken in, but this isn't really a good pic to compare that.
Maybe you can see it better here:

Happy Holidays!
I am going to assume you are dealing with the same person I dealt with before.

So maybe he has new wheels in stock now but say no if he offers you a different bolt pattern. He swear it'll fit the same.

Awesome Car
I would LOVE a set of silver VOLK GT-S but they cost WAY TOOO MUCH.
So Its Axis Shine or Axis Penta. I LOVED My Hyper silver Axis Hiro wheels,
BUT AXIS DOES'T make them anymore

That IS350 is RWD or AWD.
Do you know the exact size the wheels are?
When I talked to WHEELSTUDIO he said 19"x 8.5" in front with a +35mm offset would work.
And the rear 19"x 9.5" in the rear with a +40mm offset.
And of course 5x114.3 lug pattern.
Thanks for all the great pictures you guys

I was originally looking for Axis Penta wheels, but then a buddy of mine that also has a 3G was selling these Shine, and gave them to me for such a good price that I couldn't say no.

I really want to buy a set of 19" AXIS HIRO's with a polished lip. I prefer the Hyper Silver center, but will accept the grey centered ones-I will just paint them silver myself.
If I can't find a set of HIRO's I am interested in used AXIS SHINE's to save money.
Thanks Buddy
