Aspec Wheels from Stock Wheel Solutions

Hey everyone, I've been looking to purchase Aspec wheels for quite some time now, and as you may very well know, they are not easy to find! I came across this site: Wheels Replica Rims OEM Factory - Stock Wheel Solutions - Rim Truck Wheels, and found Aspec wheels. They look legit, just wondering if anyone has any info on how to find out if they are actually legit and OEM. They are priced for 700 for 4 rims, plus 100 bux for shipping. Not a bad deal, considering how hard these rims are to find.

Here's the link to the rims: 18" Fits Acura Honda- TL Accord 5 Dbl Spoke Factory OEM Aspec Wheel Rim 71735 - Black Chrome PVD 18x7.5 - Stock Wheel Solutions

If anyone can tell me whether these match the OEM SKU and if they are legit that would be great. Thanks in advance.

furthermore, a simple google search of that SKU number provides LOTS of results.

Im gonna go ahead and let you google that SKU yourself to see what results pop up and maybe you can come to a conclusion.
if you cant, dont worry, Im right here.

That link is for 7.5 wheels. Too small IMHO.

And no, I wouldn't buy replicas...at all. Especially not for $800. Spend a little more and wait until they come up in the Black Market or post a WTB ad there.

if i wanted to replace my stockies, sure i'd go for reps. granted they were the same specs as stock 17x8 +45 and they were cheaper than $800.

but like, ggesq pointed out. the aspecs you've linked is for the tsx.

as the TL's aspec wheels are 18x8 +45.
there even was a 8.5 width version floating around

Lol, I looked at those awhile back too! They're definitely not from the TL. That website says they're legit oem wheels, but the price is too good to be true.

Stick around the black market. Sooner or later they pop up. Better to wait for the real deal than reps

That site claims that they are OEM wheels as well, same as the other......It's going to be difficult for me to decide to purchase Aspecs online, since there are so many replicas. I am hoping this guy local to me will sell his, he is still trying to decide whether or not he wants to.

Be careful buying replicas... Once got a replica 17" rim for a BMW, and it bent within a month. Can't say what would happen in this case being it's a totally different situation, but I sure don't trust replica wheels anymore.

aspec wheels

My RL came with factory OEM Aspec wheels. I can't say that I am happy with them.

Although the finish looks like it is chrome. It really is just some sort of cheap plastic coating to look like chrome.

This coating peels off, and now after 5 years..it's peeling off in many places and looks like sh*t.

I am comptemplating buying a set of aftermarket mags to replace them once I have some time to shop.

I would be interested in buying your Aspec's. (Depending on their condition and price of course). I have a family friend who owns a shop and I could get them powder coated for cheap.

Why not have them refinished for $200 or so? They'd peel off the coating and could do your wheels in whatever finish you wanted. Chrome plating would be expensive though.
