Does anybody know what finish the 04' Aspec Gun Metal wheels are? I heard they were powdercoated and also painted? So I think its powdercoated but I just need to make sure.

The reason I ask is because I need to get some curb rash repaired and the wheel guy asked me what finish it was and I said it was painted.

Anybody here have gotten their Aspec wheels repaired? Did it come out pretty good?

Last summer I hit a curb with on of my 04 A-specs. I busted out the file and reshaped the damaged lip. I then painted the area with Dupli-Color NG GM 435 Light Gray Met. and then clear coated the area. I turned out very well and only cost me about $5 to fix.

I just had one fixed last week. Ive got the gunmetal ASPECs and curbed it about half way around the rim. Cost me $75 to fix it but it looks like new.

where is a good place to send them to repair scratches? i live in western pa but will ship them out if needed.

Ask your Acura dealer, they should have someone they use. Thats how I found my rim fixer
