it'll be rubbing like crazy and probably the tire would get shreded by the fender. Bt it all depends on offet, rims zies in with and tire size

One good thing if someone has this setup to comment if its going well for him or it was a big NO NO, i just wanna know for sure and not buy some 40's and get it in the teeth, cus some of the roads in my area are not too safe to protect some nice wheels

thank you for your understanding

this setup can be a big hazzard to you becuase the diameter diffrence is larger than 3%. That may cause brake failure, very inaccurate speedo readings along with navi problems and some other electric issues such as MPG or range calculators. Here are the calcs:

i tried out the calculator and i tested the 225 treadware and it give me 2.92%, the only question is now, will the tire rub anywhere?

Correct, 9.5 inch wide will not work on the front of these cars. 245/35 is pretty much the max but 245/40 "might" work but then again that particular tire is expensive and doesn't really buy you anything. 8.5 inches is the MAX you can reasonably put on the front.

I guess that will do, the rims i want are either 8 or 9.5. I'll get the 8" with 245/35/19 summer performance tires. I just need to start saving up... BTW Thanks

No problem. I ran into the same thing when I was making the decision. There is another post where someone is trying to pu 9.0" all the way around and one guy in the gallery section says he has 20x9.0's but we don't know any of the details behind that particular install (if it worked out long time or what he needed to do to accomplish it).
