Anyone running 18x9.5 in the front ?

i was interested in getting some new wheels again and was wondering if anyone was running 18x9.5 all around or atleast in the front.

the wheel specs are
18x9.5 +48 2.75in lip all around

i already have the rear fenders rolled what would i have to do on the fronts to make them fit i was planning on running 225/40/18 front and 235/40/18 in the rear since i have the extra tires laying around

also i am dropped about 2in in the front and 1.75 rear on h&R springs with tokico blue struts

thanks for your input !

pics are also very helpful !

there are a few guys that are running 18x9.5 all around but with +22 or +15 offset. Wheels stick out pretty far out. With that offset they don't seem like they would stick out but might have problems clearing brakes if manual or maybe hitting the suspension components. I am not too sure about this but it's worth looking into befor e purchasing the wheels

my rpf1's were 18x9.5 +38 all around w/ 235/40/18's and didn't had an issue with rubbing unless I was fully turned on a steep incline. I was a little lower than you.

Here's a picture of it when I slammed the car a couple years back.

And here's a couple of pictures before I slammed it.

Mind you, 18x9.5 +48 will have 10mm more clearance from the outside but 10mm less from the inside. Not sure how close that'll be to your suspension up front. Might want to check on that. Btw, in those pictures, I didn't roll my fenders.

Im running 18x9.5 et 38mm lowered 2 1/2 inches. No rubbing. Rear fenders rolled as well. Running 235/40/18 Next set of tires will be 245/40.
No reason for you to run 225 Go with at least 235 series

I'm running 18x9.5 +35 235/40 tires and have no rubbing issues at all. Didn't roll my fenders either. To be honest I think the +48 is going to cause problems on the inside rather than outside.

10mm in the front, at least 15mm in the rear. Personally I would go 20mm, especially since you're running stretched tires. And don't run 225s in the front, 235 will be fine.

+1, that +48 offset is really weak

Didn't want to make a new thread so I'll just ask here and bump this one up
I'm looking into some 18x9.5 +22 for all 4 corners, I am currently dropped on tein s techs and I have about a 1 to 1 and half finger gap all around.

Would I be able run these wheels without rolling or pulling my fender or quarter panels? And if I can run this size wheels what tire size would be best to make sure I minimize any chance of rubbing?

I'm running these specs with 225/40 F, 235/40 R

Fronts rub only on steep inclines with the wheel turned.
Rears rub on big dips, so I'd suggest 225/40 square.

I'm dropped quite a bit though, if you're running stechs you should be fine.
