Anyone run 245/35/18? Found awesome deal

I need new tires for my 8.5 a specs. I stumbled on a set of 245/35/18 Michelin pilot ps2. I can pick them up for 152.00 a piece and Michelin has a mail in rebate for install!! Will this be a bad idea? The car is not lowered.

PS2's are arguably the best summer tires. sounds like a great deal. I'd do it.

I want the tires but I am weary of the size. I think they will be too short and look out of place with my stock ride height.....

Tire rack has the oe replacement yoko AVS closeout for 109 each.
but those seemed too narrow.....

All I want is a good deal on a wider tire...slightly taller would be ok.

IMHO they are too small at 24.8". Go with the Yoko W4s at $145-245/40-18 with a 9.2" tread width and OD 25.6".

I ran that size for a day... lets just say its not pretty... the sidewall is barely there the wheels feel overtly stiff

Thanks, I knew deep down it was a bad idea...but that was such a deal....I think I am going to look into the 255/35/18 or 245/40/18 route instead..
Any thoughts?

I sent you a PM. I has a brand new set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 (265/35 R18) that I have yet to get mounted on my A-Specs. Contemplating going a different direction.
