Hi, have anyone heard about Nankang tires? I never heard about it before, and I found it from few websites.
How's the quality of Nankang NS-II in 18 inch. performance sucks? or thread?

 

i dont like the name, so i'd stay away from them


im sure they are not high quality tires... i saw some ads in a few car magazines and these tires came with cheap ass wheels in cheap ass wheels+tires packages.

when you see 18" wheels WITH tires for like 1000$.. you know it's not high quality

Go with either Khumo, Flaken or Nitto.

 

Nankangs are good tires, i know they are cheap, but its only coz there is no name recognition like pirelli or bridgestone. Look for the tread wear number in the specs, if you want something that u can get 40000 miles out of get a tradewear 400 , High performance tires like the Pzero and Potenza s-02 have treadwear of 220 , which sux tire life wise, but that accounts towards performance. Get something in the 300 range, that way u can get 30k to 40k miles out of, and wont sacrifice any performance. later
