I think these are some Chinese tires. From what I have seen (went to the company) they are pretty cheap. But this is only from what I have seen. Oh yeah, they mostly had like lawn mower, go cart, and inner tubes when I went. I don't think they are a mainstream automobile tire company. But I could be wrong, so I hope others can help out on this one.

NanKang is the Taiwan distributor if Yokohama and i think they share technology, althought NanKangs are more for long lasting, not performance

I got Nankang NS2 225/40/18 and they ride pretty well...but yes they are for durability not performance.

The name Nankang sounded like a city in China (Nanking). Anyways, no idea if they're good, I would stick with Yoko's or other well know brands myself. Of course, people were saying that about Kumho's before, but they turned out to be pretty decent tires.

Nankang is a tires company from Taiwan and I use to have their tires on my bike back in college 10 years ago before I move back here. All I can say is when it is raining I would rather take the bus than riding my bike. You know what I mean.

Yeah I would definately not cheap out on the only thing that keeps your car on the road. Spend some money and get a good set of tires.
