Akata Spacers 15F/20R Pics of them installed with OEM wheels
Recently purchased the Akata Spacers 15F/20R and love the look of them with the OEM wheels. Now I just need a drop!
Great product in my opinion. Everything fit snug and fit the pockets on the back of the OEM wheels. Highly recomend these to the people who want to get a flush look with the stock wheels. (as others mentioned before) Hopefully this will cut down on future posts of what size spacers make the oem wheels flush.
Dont mind the dirty/rusty rotors, those will be cleaned up and painted this summer. Gotta love wisconsin winters and 50000lbs of salt!

Do you have to grind the original studs down when using these spacers?

Thanks for the thread, I hope it brings the spacer question down too.

Anyone have any issues with these? I love the look but I'm worried about durability, especially on the rough roads around here. Someone had posted here and on a Lexus site where the spacer broke. I believe it was the 10mm spacers but I'm curious as to what you guys think or problems you've had.

Did you torque the spacers to the same specs as the wheels? 80 lb ft. Just curious cause I'm gonna try some 20mm's on my rear too and wondering if I should go the same on the spacer. For now I just bought one pair of 20's to try on the front and back but they'll probably stay on the back and then I'll order the same or 15's up front.

Always torque your lugs, both the spacer lugs and wheel lugs.
Spacers look good!
I need to get 20mm spacers for the rear. Already have the 15mm I'm using for the rear right now. Plan to put those up front.

I know to always torque them, I was just curious if people were using a different spec on the spacer than the wheels. I have 20mm's just on the rear now, I torqued them to 90 lb ft instead of 80 cause I had an extension on which can make it a few lbs lighter so figure really 85, everything seems good after a few days, I'll remove the wheels and double check again soon.

I torqued my spacers to 80 foot pounds as per the Ichiba instructions.
I torqued my wheels to 90 foot pounds, though.
A lot of shops I know torque them to 100 foot pounds, and I know 80 foot pounds is proper one, so I chose to go with 90 to be in-between.
An important factor is that they are all tightened equally.
