Air suspension???

So I was wondering if you guys have heard of or have air suspension on your TL's.

I know cars and many suv's like the mercedes ml have them. they give you the option for a sport or comfort ride as well as the ability to lift the car up an extra 2-3 inches. -all of this by a push of a button on the dash-.

i really think itd be a great option to have I would love to be able to put that on my car. so if any of you have heard of them/have them lemme know

don't people use them to create a bouning effect and also for heavy loads? TW, the EDFC does the same except for the lift.

There are no bolt up air suspension system made for the TL. You could probably get some custom ones made. Check out this link: http://www.easystreetair.com/index.a...ROD&ProdID=688

However I think it would be too much of a hassle to do it. To have a complete system, you would need an air tank, air compressor, air valves, airline, air gauges, water seperator, etc etc etc. Also with a bad installation, you will run into problems of air leaking and air bags popping.

Also, you would need a system to make sure your car is level, front to back, side to side. Cars that came with air suspension have very sophiscated computer system that are tied with sensors all over the car to make it easy to use with just a push of a button. If would be very difficult for an aftermarket to do the same.

When people want to 'bag' a car they usually use rams. Check out this link http://www.airbagit-store.com/produc...t.asp&ID=98913

They are essetially struts with bags where the travel portion of the shock would be. Pretty pricey, but adjustable suspension is the type of thing where the theory 'you get what you pay for' hold true.

Bagging is the most common way nowadays.

I Don't think they have any kits for the 3rd gen TL though.

No cheap way to add air ride, best to spend the money and do it right.

I heard from REV-01 that the Air Runner System for the TSX is a direct bolt on for the 3G TL... Those kits are like 4 to 5 Grand... would love to do it if I had the extra $$$$
