Aftermarket Springs How do you tell?

I have a 2006 TL 6 Speed manual. I'm doing a bunch of front end work changing upper and lower control arms, axles, inner and outer tie rods, stabilizer links, and brakes. I was looking at the struts and springs and there lies my question. I have 20 in rims on my car and it looks lowered. Even when I bought the car it had 18 in rims and the car looks lowered. I assumed that the car was lowered since, everyone who sees my car thinks it's lowered. I looked at the struts and they are oem. I then found a receipt from the previous owner showing him purchasing all new struts and shocks complete sets with springs from Acura. If it's on I'm wondering why it looks lowered? Is there a way to know or something on the spring to tell if he changed just the springs for lowered springs?

evidence points to OEM.
look like a duck, quacks like a duck but is shorter than a duck?

snap some pics of the ride! maybe the 20 inch rims make it look dropped?
also, my favorite way of knowing...is parking next to another stock TL.
look at the height of the side view mirrors.

That's what I thought but for everyone you see saying it looks lowered makes you wonder.

A TLS suspension won't lower the car 2".

Your pics don't work

Ok thanks. I'll try and do that the next time I see one. I was thinking if I'm doing all that work to maybe change the suspension but they are still good.

yea the only reason I was thinking to was that I am doing all this other work and it's right there. They have about 70k miles on them but they are still good so screw it lol. Thanks for all the input guys!

The aspec suspension does lower it a bit, but not by much. Could also be a combo of that and tires. Just a thought.
Hope the previous downer didnt cut the springs lol.

Your ground clearance seems close to what any TL with stock springs would be, but your wheels seem to take more space in the fenders.

What are your wheel and tire setups? Could be the reason the car looks dropped without being dropped.
