Adjusting the dampening setting for megan coils
Question, I got megans on my 08 base and correct me if im wrong but they come set at 0 from factory and in order to soften them up I would have to count up or down for the specific settings I want......and to get just a little better than a stock setting where should I dial it at? This is where I'm confused because they are stiffer then hell

If they're the same as Tein...turning them counter-clockwise will make them softer, clockwise will make them stiff.
If you think they are set at full stiff right now, you shouldn't be able to turn them one way, only the other.
Damping is for your liking, I would take the strut bar off and reveal some of the rear deck so you can adjust the rears, drive around for a few days and keep making some adjustments till it fits to your liking.
When I first installed my Teins, we put them halfway, it felt very floaty and I didn't like it at all, though Teins are known for being softer, the Megans might feel the same. I currently have mine 4 clicks from full stiff.

yeah it's all a guessing game until you find the sweet spot that is comfortable for you.
i have megans as well, and i have my fronts set to FULL stiff 32/32 and rears set to 3/4 stiff at 24/32 and it works for me.
i have mine set so stiff because i am very low and run aggressive wheels so i don't want a lot of spring rebound when i'm driving or turning into parking lots, etc.
