Acura TL modifications suggestions

I plan to purchase the Acura TL auto but wanted some modifications with the ride and handling. I do not want the full a-spec mods. I 'm interested in th sports suspension and new tires possibly to be installed at the dealership. Do you think these modifications are good? Any suggestions on sportier stickier tires? Thanks

I can tell you that I had the A-Spec suspension and the Comptech rear sway bar installed not to long ago. The difference in handling has been greatly improved. The car sticks better in the curves and just feels a lot more composed. The ride, although a bit firmer than stock, is not harsh by any means. I have a set of 18" wheels wrapped in a set of Michelin PS2's that I am waiting to install and I expect that they will add a measure of additional handling prowess.

I have the A-Spec suspension, Comptech swaybar, A-Spec 18" rims wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza RE750s in the 235/40/18 size. The ride is definitely stiffer with the A-Spec suspension, but helps with the body lean and the floaty feeling that people get when they take turns at higher speeds.

You will probably notice the most difference in terms of ride feel from moving to the 18s - the shorter sidewalls make for a lot stiffer ride.

the stiffer suspension/Swaybar/better tread will be the necessary... if you want your TL better... IMO...
