Accord Struts and Springs on TL?

I just recently bought a used 04 TL...the previous owner dropped it, but id rather have it raised back up. i have a set of struts and springs that came off an 04 accord sedan, would these fit on the TL?

they will. If anything, you'll have to reuse the tophats that are currently on the TL

What is it dropped on?

Think they're eibachs. But the front was dropped way too low...hear the wheel rubbing against the fender every time I hit a bump

Are they OEM Accord springs and struts? If so, don't do it. They're two different cars with two different spring rates. Your car won't ride like it should and might even sit differently.

check what model accord the shocks are from. from my knowledge, the v6 accord shocks can be used with our car and the i4 model can be used on the TSX.

tophats will have to be transferred as well.

yeah the i4 models are lighter than the v6. the TL weight would stress the shocks out more from the added weight over the i4 accord, which would only lead to premature wear and eventually a blown shock.

If you want to raise the car back to stock height go over to the Black Market (https://acurazine.com/forums/marketplace/parts/search/) and find a set of OE springs. Swap them in and you should be good to go.

BTW, if you have Eibach Pro-Kit springs, I'm surprised they rub. Something else is going on. What shocks and what size tires?

Thanks! And I'm pretty sure they're stock shocks and the tires are also the stock 17s
