Is the 6speed suspension the aspec suspension? Or is there a aspec auto and 6speed suspension seperately?

the 2004-2006 TL has four different suspensions available from the factory and they are as follows:

TL 5AT (base)
TL 6MT (base)
TL 5AT (A-spec)
TL 6MT (A-spec)

this same trend goes for the 2007-2008 models both TL and TL Type-s. hope that answers your question. now as far as the part #'s go, you are on your own...lol

How much better are the aspec suspension and how much does it lower the car? Is it just different springs or shocks as well?

A little stiffer ride...depends what you mean by "better"...flatter cornering for sure...lowers car approx 1/2-3/4ins in most cases. Shocks and springs.

its not a huge drop but it is still an improvement over stock, and it offers a huge handling upgrade without sacrificing too much ride quality. i love it

I see what your saying above, but I can't seem to locate the A-spec suspension offered for a 2004-2006 Sport 6MT. It only appears to be offered for the Base 5AT. Did Acura offer an A-spec suspension for the 2004-2006 Sport 6MT?

there is no such thing, as far as i know, as a "sport" anything, so not sure what you are asking there. but yes, there is a 6MT aspec suspension. overall there are WAY more ATs out there so the same probably goes for parts ...especially non-base parts such as the aspec suspension. i would keep looking though, i am almost certain someone would be selling them. good luck finding what you need!

ok, so just that you know I am not making this up. When i am looking for parts on an Acura parts site I get 6 options for my TL version:
Base
Base Navigation
Sport
Sport Nav/Summer Tire
Sport Naviagation
Sport Summer Tire
The Sport only came in 6MT.

ok, i see your issue. i have never heard it called "sport", but basically sport is the 6MT. which i guess makes sense because the gearing is different, and there is a lsd, but i know you can get the base with summer tires so that name is just misleading. anywho, for the 04-06 models there is still only 4 suspension options and yes, they did make the aspec for your car. some people with AT get the MT aspec suspension because it drops the front end a little lower, but for you i would wait until you find the right setup.

I believe they have discontinued the part #s for the 04-06 MT (someone can correct me if I'm wrong), I have an 05 6 MT and purchased the 07-08 6 MT A-spec package-which I hope to install this spring. On Acura website the weight diff of the 2 cars is approx 80lbs, so I'm hoping it won't be too nose high.
